"Immune Booster” Morning drink

Season for cold and flu is in a full swing. Aghh…

What do you do to stay strong and healthy in this tricky time like autumn, winter and spring?

I have a recipe which is keeping me and my family flu free 🙂

It works for us! Why not to try it out and check if it’s working for you too?

Have a go!

For many years every morning I drink my “immune booster tea”.

I usually prepare it a night before and add just a warm water in the morning.

Great way to start the day because it will boost your metabolism and energy, improve digestive health, strengthen immune system.

If I feel the cold is coming, I’m preparing an extra dose, supper powerful shot which I drink a few times a day.

Immune boosters contain:

Turmeric– has powerful anti-inflammatory effects, very strong antioxidant.

Ginger– can help lower the risk of infection, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidants effects.

Cinnamon– metabolism booster, has antibacterial properties which may reduce infections, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory effects.

Cayenne pepper– help boost your metabolism, helps reduce hunger, improve digestive health.

Honey– energy booster, improve skin quality, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

Bee Polen– strong antioxidant, energy booster, strengthens immune system, skin smoother, helps relieve stress, support weight loss and weight control.

Lemon– high in vitamin C, improves skin quality, supports weight loss, help digestive system moving.

Recipe:

1 thumb / tsp of turmeric

1 thumb/ 1tsp of ginger

1 tsp of cinnamon

1 or 2 good pinch of cayenne pepper

1 or 2 tsp of honey

1 tsp of bee polen

Juice from 1 lemon

How to do it:

  1. If you have a fresh turmeric and ginger grate it on a small grater.
  2. Tip all ingredients into a small jar or a bowl, stir gently.
  3. Keep the mixture in the fridge and add water in the morning before drinking it or drink as a shoot without the water.

Helpful tips:

I always freeze fresh turmeric and ginger, it is much easer to grate it when is frozen. f you don’t have fresh ingredients use dry spices.

Make it as a part of your morning routine: wake up, immune booster drink, shower, get ready, breakfast and you ready to go 🙂
